Terry give Perth up and come and live on the Sunshine Coast , i have been watching the RC groups forum and your struggle to find a flying spot.
I hate to rub it in but this is just one of many spots we lucky buggars have.
Good luck in Perth.
Pete.

Thanks for the advice guys, but that aint gunna happen.
And, yeah, I'm having a hard time trying to whip up any enthusiasm on RC Groups, but it's early days yet.
I did find an almost reasonable slope site today, and got some much needed flying in.
Although I didn't try, I think it'll be good enough for the Booby.
Edit:
Ah No, I was wrong, it's not even close to being good enough for the Boobster.

Hey nick. Took this one the other day at the look out at montville, it's a scratch built glider by a bloke named Ray, there will be a few guys heading up there this week with an assortment of planes, will make sure im on the ground long enough to get some pics, would be good to see people post some more pics on the site.
hi there raymo
what do you call that plane?
looks like a bird?
well see the guy with the red arrow
http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/tt252/bluezuki/drcuzzo.jpg
well he made that plane for pete
he is a fantastic builder and just the other day he made another duck with his old gear and did one of the best jobs of covering i have seen, well we went to one of our secret spots as it a very private spot, and poor old steve's plane coped it, you know the day when every thing goes wrong, well we all bashed him out of the sky, pete in one collision put some huge rips in the wing, but as we all say that's what they are made for, we couldn't stop laughing all day, we tied streamers about 2.5 meters long onto our ducks and tried to break them off, what a blast, should have taken some photos, sorry!
we keep on saying someone needs to get a video, maybe wowings could buy one HINT HINT!!!!!!!!
come on pete lash out and we can put some cool videos on to show everyone how good your planes are, i have no hesitations recomending any of your to anyone.
have fun
regards nick

Hi Nick, i believe that plane is an 'alula'? copy, i've found a similar one for sale on the efly power website, as recommended to me by Ray.
A couple of us went to Brandenburg today, the conditions were great, but my poor duck didn't last too long, after a head on collision with a bee at quite a high speed my duck was missing a control rod, the arm of the servo and the horn from the elevon, the other servo was stripped and it even broke the 'sliding' piece out of the switch. luckily it landed not far from us and on the ground too. 'game over'! the photos aren't the best, only taken with my phone.

The photo of the yellow bee that looks like it's sitting on ground was actually taken at the time of impact, fluke.

I'm not jealous at all, no really I'm not. :(
I got to fly at Esperance on the week end, and it's absolutely awesome (even if it is 880 kms away from Perth).
There's a Booby and an S15 hiding in the scrub somewhere in this picture, a free smiley emoticon to the first person who spots them.
well here is a guess for you

That left arrow is close enough Nick,
The planes are actually off the screen to the left.
And here's your reward.....
