Sorry about the terrible quality of this video, but we only had my "toy" camera to play with.
There's actually two S15s in this clip (mines the one with the rainbow colour scheme on top). We even try to fly in formation, untill I knock the other one out of the air. ![]() It wasn't my fault, he was flying inverted, and was just going too slow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YKnZ_Lo8Fw Last edited by TSnake; 12-18-2011 at 11:30 PM. |

Oh yes, she's fast, but I did have a little help. There was a tropical cyclone just off the coast on that particular day...the winds were insane.
But as fast as the S15 looks, it can't catch the Booby, the Booby's in a different league Here's an interesting video, it shows an S15 model that's being made for a simulator (Real Flight 3.5). It's not finished yet, but when it is it'll be available to download for free from the "Knife Edge" swap pages. One very clever American is making it, he skinned it with photos from my actual S15, and I got to tweak it to fly realistically. Pete's given us his blessing to do this, so we're not stepping on anyones toes here. It may result in a few more sales, in fact the guy that built the model now wants to buy one (and he's never slope soared in his life, so that's how much fun this model is to fly). And here's a picture of the beast it was modeled on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqk-7nx3Wzo Last edited by TSnake; 12-18-2011 at 11:30 PM. |

The completed "Real Flight 3.5 flight simulator" S15 model is now available to download for free from the Knife Edge swap pages, here's a link.
http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/down...?do=cat&id=125 I just had a fly, and it really is lots o' fun. If someone has a later version of the simulator, can you tell me if it's compatible please ? Thanks to Junkboy999. Last edited by TSnake; 12-18-2011 at 11:31 PM. |

This isn't my video, and I've got no idea who made it.
Check out the Booby with a fuselage and twin tail booms !!! It looks magnificent (I may have to copy his design, because I can't think of any way to improve on it). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A-pIWojvFY Last edited by TSnake; 12-18-2011 at 11:31 PM. |
